Built For Students

One place to learn, practice, prepare and ask for help — that adapts to the way your mind actually works, not the way a textbook assumes it does.

Neurodivergent-first

Designed for every kind of mind, from the first screen.

Most learning tools are built for one kind of learner and then adapted. FriskOL starts the other way round: adjustable pacing, low-stimulus layouts, shorter steps, read-aloud and no timers unless you want them are defaults, not settings buried three menus deep.

Bilingual from day one

English and Spanish, built in — not translated later.

Language lives in the content model itself: every lesson, practice set, explanation and progress note exists as an English and a Spanish parallel of the same aligned object. Switch language and you keep the same outcomes, the same difficulty and the same history — never a thinner version of the product. French is next on the roadmap.

How FriskOL serves you

What this looks like day to day.

Learning that moves at your pace

Every topic breaks into steps you can slow down, repeat or skip. Go deeper when it clicks, take a smaller step when it doesn't. Nothing penalises you for needing a second pass.

Neurodivergent-first by default

FriskOL is built neurodivergent-first. ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyscalculia, processing differences and anxiety aren't edge cases we accommodate later — they set the defaults: shorter steps, adjustable pacing, low-stimulus layouts, no timers unless you ask for them, and no shame in needing a different route to the same understanding.

Practice that actually prepares you

Practice sets and mock exams generated from what you're studying, at three difficulty tiers, with worked explanations instead of just a red X.

Study with people, not alone

Study groups, shared notes and threads where you can ask a question without it feeling like a test.

Learn in English or Spanish

Bilingual from day one. English and Spanish run as parallel versions of the same lesson object — same outcomes, same practice, same progress — so switching language never means switching to a thinner product. Nothing is machine-translated after the fact. French is next on the roadmap. Read a topic in one language, practise in the other, or keep explanations in the language you think in.

Progress you can read

See what you've mastered against real curriculum outcomes — and what to do next, in one sentence.

PhyLO — your AI companion

An AI that teaches, not one that answers for you.

PhyLO sits alongside the work: explaining, re-teaching, re-levelling and keeping track of where you left off.

  • Re-explains the same idea a different way as many times as you need.
  • Breaks long tasks into steps sized for your attention, not an average.
  • Reads aloud, summarises, or turns walls of text into short chunks.
  • Never guesses your answer for you — it asks what you already see.
  • Explains in English or Spanish — and can switch mid-topic without losing your place.
