Built For Teachers

Plan, assign and see where every learner actually is — with the differentiation for neurodivergent students built into the lesson instead of bolted on at 11pm.

Neurodivergent-first

Designed for every kind of mind, from the first screen.

Most learning tools are built for one kind of learner and then adapted. FriskOL starts the other way round: adjustable pacing, low-stimulus layouts, shorter steps, read-aloud and no timers unless you want them are defaults, not settings buried three menus deep.

Bilingual from day one

English and Spanish, built in — not translated later.

Language lives in the content model itself: every lesson, practice set, explanation and progress note exists as an English and a Spanish parallel of the same aligned object. Switch language and you keep the same outcomes, the same difficulty and the same history — never a thinner version of the product. French is next on the roadmap.

How FriskOL serves you

What this looks like day to day.

Plan against real standards

Build a lesson from aligned components. Every piece reports which US state standard or Canadian provincial outcome it covers, so gaps are visible before you teach.

Differentiation that's already there

FriskOL is built neurodivergent-first. ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyscalculia, processing differences and anxiety aren't edge cases we accommodate later — they set the defaults: shorter steps, adjustable pacing, low-stimulus layouts, no timers unless you ask for them, and no shame in needing a different route to the same understanding. Each assignment ships with alternate pacing, reduced-load and read-aloud versions you can hand out without rebuilding anything.

Assign in a click, mark in minutes

Assign to a class, a group or one student. Auto-marked practice, with the reasoning visible so you can see how a student got there.

Mastery, not vibes

Class and individual mastery against curriculum outcomes — not a proprietary score nobody outside the product understands.

Bilingual delivery, not translation

Bilingual from day one. English and Spanish run as parallel versions of the same lesson object — same outcomes, same practice, same progress — so switching language never means switching to a thinner product. Nothing is machine-translated after the fact. French is next on the roadmap. Provinces and classrooms that need both get both, from the same aligned lesson.

Less admin, more teaching

Reuse, duplicate and share units. Provenance and licensing are tracked for you.

PhyLO — your AI companion

An AI that teaches, not one that answers for you.

PhyLO sits alongside the work: explaining, re-teaching, re-levelling and keeping track of where you left off.

  • Drafts a lesson from an outcome, then adapts it to three reading levels.
  • Suggests supports for specific learner profiles in your class.
  • Turns your existing material into aligned, accessible versions.
  • Summarises where the class is stuck before you plan the next lesson.
  • Produces the Spanish parallel of a lesson as an aligned version, not a rough translation.
